    The original VL118 was first introduced in 1964 and initially a steel framed chair with a plywood seat and back. The chair was re-launches in 2014. The steelbase comes in three variants – silky mat chrome, shiny chrome or black powder coat. The seat and back is true to the original in every shape and is available in walnut, oak, smoked oak or black stained oak veneer, or upholstered with textiles or leather.
