	"Stool inspired by the large distinctive doors at Thorvaldsens Museum. The craft aspect is underscored by the dovetail joints connecting the legs to the seat. The annual rings of the two halves of the seat are arranged to create a lens-shaped pattern when the seat is planed into shape. The edges have been finished with a little neoclassical profile that is pleasant to the touch. 	Refer to RP08129.- The model was first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition in 1940. It was displayed together with Finn Juhl's signifciant Pelican chair. This table was made by special order for the home of the Dentist Mr. Ravn in 1941, as one of a number pieces that was designed by Finn Juhl on this occassion. It is likely that only two tables have ever been made
