By creating a closed environment we aimed to develop a seating design that would invite human encounters, interaction and conversation. our approach in creating this public space was to avoid an obvious furniture design and instead aim more for an art installation. With the use of coloured transparent acrylic sheets to form a high backrest, we created a space rather than a piece of furniture.
