"C44 dining table is part of HAY's 2011 relaunch of the Danish furniture classics originally made for FDB (The Danish Consumers’Co-operative Society). Functionalist and democratic design for the people - that was the main idea behind the furniture production started by FDB in the 1940s. By shifting to industrial production and thus deceasing the costs FDB pushed forward the availability of designer furniture for ordinary people by making high quality design furniture at relatively low prices. This dining table designed by Jørgen Baekmark in 1963 is made from laquered beech wood with a reversible melamine tabletop - black on one side and white on the other".- Refer to RP16953, RP16954, RP16955, RP06431

The sides are in 4 mm laser cut steel supplied in graphite grey or bright white. The shelves, the back-up lining and the partitions come in black or white melamine with ABS edges. Fronts for doors, drawers and suspension files are in high lustre laminate or veneer. Pingo was conceived in 2002 as Hans Sandgren Jakobsen’s proposal as a chair for the Danish Crown Prince Frederik – a competition arranged by the Association of Danish Furniture Industries. The seat and back are compression moulded in one piece and the shape is reminiscent of an open shell. The Pingo can be stacked and a flexible connector fitting makes it easy to organise the chair into rows. It comes with or without armrests as well as a supporting rest for writing. The chair also comes with chair suspension brackets, a hymn book holder and numbering clips. Special trolleys are available for transporting the stacked chairs, which are available in beech, maple, cherry and durable melamine. Pingo also comes in an upholstered seat and a fully upholstered version
