| "Two persons can sit on a chair, one on top of the other. One person sits on one person who sits on a chair. If the assignment is to make two persons sit side by side on a chair, the chair’s proportions have to change drastically. The chair has to be transformed into a bench. The same idea, the same amount of material and the same basic shape, only rephrased/reshaped. | "Two tables, one small but tall; one large, but short. Both imperfect in form and detail. Hand-made of papier mâché, once a popular technique for making furniture, boxes, interior decorations and so forth. An oval tabletop on a round pillar, like the dot over the ‘i’. The name refers to the typographic language represented in the visual expression of design.
