| Kyoto is designed by Ayoe Vallentin. She had the inspiration for the Kyoto chair during a study visit in Japan which is why she called the chair Kyoto. In Japan she stayed at a temple cabinetmaker’s where paper cutting was a part of daily life. The Kyoto chair was therefore bent and cutted out in paper at first. The chair is inspired by Japanese furniture design. Is also available with upholstered seat.- First shown at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2009 |
